Krema glazbenika na novom albumu Bryana Ferrya PDF Ispis E-mail

"Olympia" - naziv je nadolazećeg novog studijskog albuma lidera britanskih glam-rock legendi Roxy Music Bryana Ferrya, a bit će objavljen 25. listopada. Album, kojeg će najaviti singl "You Can Dance" čiji je službeni datum izlaska 9. kolovoz, obilježit će gostovanja brojnih cijenjenih glazbenika.
Tako će se na njemu naći David Gilmour (ex-Pink Floyd), zatim Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers), Nile Rodgers (ex-Chic), Marcus Miller, kao i Jonny Greenwood (Radiohead) te Mani (ex-The Stone Roses/Primal Scream).
Bit će mu to prvi samostalni studijski album na kojem će po prvi puta nakon 1973. godine i debija "These Foolish Things" također gostovati i članovi spomenutog mu matičnog benda - gitarist Phil Manzanera, saksofonist Andy Mackay te Brian Eno.

Album će nasljediti tri godine stari "Dylanesque" te će između ostaloga sadržavati obrade standarada Tima Buckleya i Traffica, "Song To The Siren" odnosno "No Face, No Name, No Number".
Ovo je 13. samostalno studijsko izdanje Ferrya u karijeri, a inspiraciju za njega dobio je u izložbi slika koju trenutno održava u londonskoj dvorani Olympia - mjestu odvijanja International Fine Art Faira.
